RIDE FOR RETT

By: Kristi Byers

Please join us for the Southeastern Rett Syndrome Alliance Saturday, October 31, 2009, for a ride that could make all the difference!

What? - Rett Syndrome is a devastating neurological disease that primarily affects young girls and women. Girls with Rett Syndrome cannot talk, many cannot walk, and most cannot use their hands. They require total care from parents or care-givers.

Who? - ALL RIDERS/BIKERS are welcome!!  All monies collected will benefit local girls and women with Rett Syndrome. The ride will benefit The Rett Syndrome Center at UAB and IRSF (International Rett Syndrome Foundation).

Where? - Registration begins at 9:00 AM at the Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson, Pelham, AL. Registration/donation is $25/bike. The ride starts at 10:00 AM and ends at approximately 12:30 PM, at VeteranŐs Park in Alabaster. We will be grilling hotdogs at the end of the ride for everyone!!

Why? - Because the girls need your help, their families need your help, and treatment options are becoming a reality. We promise that you will meet some of the sweetest, most beautiful girls in the world.
