Moments:
We
started a new column this
issue entitled Proud Moments. Please share a proud moment with us for
this next
issue! These can be moments that you have been extremely proud of your
child
with special needs. Although, you may feel you can only share your
excitement
or enthusiasm with others that will really understand! Please share
your proud
moment with us, so we can all be proud of the daily/moments
accomplishments our
children achieve.
Honoring "Everyday Heroes":
We
are recognizing and
honoring "Everyday Heroes" on our site. We will honor one hero per
month. Anyone that has made an impact on you or your child's life can
be
nominated. To nominate your hero, please share their story with us
about how
this person has made a difference. Please make sure to include a
picture of
your hero. Send your submissions and image to submit@parentingspecialneeds.org
