We hope you enjoy the May/June issue of Parenting Special Needs Magazine. We wish to thank all of the incredible contributors that have shared their knowledge in making this issue a success!

Be sure to stay tuned for the July/Aug issue of Parenting Special Needs Magazine we will be focusing on Independence: Life Skills, Alternative Therapies, Transitions for this issue, if you are interested in sharing your story, tips or successes, please send us your article and a picture by June 10th.

Post your next Event for FREE: 

Our Event Calendar where you are able to post events in your area for free.

To add an event: select the Country tab, then the State tab, and hit “search button”. Select your County and hit “search button”. This will bring you to the “add an event” box: click here to add your event information. Upon PSN review (to avoid spam) it will be posted the same day.

Proud Moments:  

Support our newest column entitled Proud Moments. Please share a proud moment with us for our next issue! These can be moments that you have been extremely proud of your child with special needs. Although, you may feel you can only share your excitement or enthusiasm with others that will really understand! And we do, so please, share your proud moment with us so we can all be proud of the accomplishments our children achieve.

Honoring "Everyday Heroes": 

We are recognizing and honoring "Everyday Heroes" on our site. We will honor one hero per month. Anyone that has made an impact on you or your child's life can be nominated. To nominate your hero, please share their story with us about how this person has made a difference. Please make sure to include a picture of your hero. Send your submissions and image to submit@parentingspecialneeds.org
