Founder/Editorial Director

Chantai Snellgrove has been in involved in the graphic arts, advertising, marketing and magazine publishing industries for nearly 25 years. Her designs and illustrations have been featured in both International magazines and children's magazines. As owner of Finelines Designs, she worked closely with hundreds of companies to ensure that the goals and visions of the companies were recognized.

In addition, she founded Tiny Tymes Magazines as a ''first read'' magazine for parents to read to their young children. It encompassed another area of interest and passion for Chantai: Recycling and the Environment. The magazine was one of the first to use polyvinyl from recycled materials.

She combined her passion for teaching, taking care of the environment and her designs to form CHANTAI DESIGNS in 2004 - ''keeping green with recycling''. Chantai believes in raising awareness and empowering all people, ''special needs'' or ''different abilities'' through art. Start young and continue teaching ''tomorrow's adults'' to respect all people, the earth, and its natural resources.

Recognizing the need for a publication that could help families who were caring for children with special needs, Chantai drew upon her background and experience to create Parenting Special Needs Magazine, LLC. Choosing to make it a FREE, on-line, bi-monthly publication that also helped the environment by being the FIRST on-line magazine that catered to the special needs community. Now celebrating its THIRD year, PSN has become a valuable resource for these families.

Chantai lives in Vero Beach, Fl., with her husband and her two children.
