This conference is the brainchild of Bryan West Co Founder of Camp Autism. Autism and Faith is something close to our hearts as Christians raising three children on the spectrum. Sadly so many families are leaving the church due to the many issues of Autism, Including embarrassment over what is considered inappropriate church behaviour, unacceptance by their church family, anger at God, Guilt over percieved sin that has caused ASD in their child. And many other reasons. By having this conference Camp Autism hopes to explain Autism to Ministers of all denominations. We also hope to be able to speak into the lives of those struggling with their own faith, A church is nothing but a building with walls. God\'s outstretched arms are our refuge and we should find our comfort within them. Jesus says \"Bring forth the little children\" but the next line does NOT say except for the ones with , ASD, Down Syndrome or any other disability. There will be a fee for this event and guest speakers to be confirmed.
