Discover How Project SEARCH Opens Doors to Employment
Project SEARCH is a transition-to-work program for young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities that is available throughout the United States. The program, developed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, is unique in that it features total workplace immersion for the last year of the student’s high-school eligibility. Real-life work experience and an employability curriculum are delivered in an atmosphere of high expectations. This promotes personal growth and successful employment outcomes. Program graduates achieve real, rewarding jobs that match their interests and skills, and foster a sense of pride and community inclusion.
