Here is a simple and fun recipe to serve this weekend to put everyone in the Halloween spirit.
Ingredients:
- Use Premade Italian Meatballs or Homemade (we used Turkey Meatballs)
- Short Fresh Chicago or Italian/rolls
- Deli sliced provolone cheese
- Sliced black olives • 1-2 cups of your favorite store-bought marinara sauce
- 1-2 tbs. Melted butter (brush on bread)
Cook meatballs according to the package cooking directions. With parents’ supervision, place sandwiches with sauce, meatballs, and cheese under broiler or in the microwave until the cheese is melted and covers the meatballs.
