Make & Go Trail Mix
As summer break approaches, it is important to take some time to plan ahead before you start your adventure. Doing so ensures that the whole family will have fun and enjoy the vacation. Here is my “go-to” recipe for a healthy trail mix that kids of all ages are sure to love. You can pack it in snack bags and it is ready to go wherever you go- the grocery store, running errands, the amusement park, etc. Keep a couple of bags in the car, or your purse, for the time when hunger hits because it is a great snack for grown-ups too!
Make-and-Go Healthy Trail Mix

1.5 servings (~36 almonds) of all natural almonds
1.5 servings (22 pretzels) of Synder’s Sourdough Nibblers
1/8 c (packed) Raisins
1/8 c Dried Cranberries
1/8 c Dry Roasted Edamame
This will yield ~ 4 servings of approx. 1/2 c serving size
