Public Schools

Public schools receive funding through local, state, and federal tax dollars and follow the rules and regulations set forth by politicians. Public education is free to all students and do not require any interviews or testing for admission. By law, public schools are required to accept all children. Public school districts are required by law to provide all rights to students under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). They must provide testing and disability services for children who qualify and demonstrate that they are doing everything stated in a child’s IEP.
