Tim Tebow: More Reasons to Love Him
A Bold Celebration
The Tim Tebow Foundation was founded in 2010 and has dramatically impacted thousands of lives. The purpose of the foundation is to serve children through a faith-based platform. Success of this organization is not limited to “numbers,” It’s fully embodied in the outcomes of each child’s life that are positively affected.
“The Tim Tebow Foundation exists to bring Faith, Hope, and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.”
More than 20,000 people are members of the Tim Tebow Foundation, and there are many thousands of volunteers that serve at various events. The many services that the organization provides includes Orphan Care, Timmy’s Playroom, Tebow Cure Hospital, W15h, adoption aid, and Night to Shine.

Orphan Care provides essential needs such as food, shelter, medication, schooling of basic education as well as the gospel of Christ. At this point in time, the Orphan Care service has supplied 2,780 children in need in four countries.
Timmy’s Playroom is specifically designed for hospitalized children so that they are granted the opportunity to bask in an atmosphere that allows them to be playful and happy kids. The playrooms are built in the hospital, so the children don’t have to think about undergoing medical treatment all the time. So far, more than 3,750 kids and families have regained an increment of happiness in one of the eight playrooms.
The Tebow Cure Hospital Organization states, “we provide physical and spiritual healing to children in the Philippines who otherwise could not afford care.” This hospital has welcomed more than 3,000 patients.
W15h was created for children with terminal illnesses who desire to meet Tim Tebow. 66 W15hes have been fulfilled so far.
Adoption aid was designed so money could be granted to families that made the valiant decision to adopt an international special needs child. This aid has affected 60 families to-date.

Last but certainly not least, Night to Shine is a worldwide movement dedicated to people with special needs. It is essentially “an unforgettable prom night experience.” 375 churches around the world host this night for 75,000 guests. This event has taken place in previous years and, again, took place this year on Friday, Feb. 10. The night is centered on God’s love in a way that adamantly celebrates each unique guest so that they’re aware of how valued they truly are.
Quoted from the Tim Tebow Foundation Facebook page the day after the event, “Last night truly was a #NightToShine… it was a night for our honored guests to shine, for the volunteers to shine, for the church to shine and a night for Jesus to shine! … We are incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing community who believes in this worldwide movement to celebrate people with special needs!”
