Helping Equip Children with Speech/Language Impairments {Tip 13 of 31}
Speech and language skills are essential to learning and academic success
Programs/Services and Annual Updates: It is important that you equip your child with the necessary services/programs to succeed. In school, teachers can arrange individual or small group settings for your child, as well as a team with assistants for optimal learning. If your child has a severe speech and/or language impairment, you may consider a speech therapy program that can further assist your child in the areas of speech, communication, feeding, articulation, apraxia, aphasia, stuttering, voice, cognition, memory, and augmentative communication.
