Angela Ruzicka and her sister Amanda Angela are the author of the Wendy on Wheels book series. Her sister, Amanda, has spina bifida and was the inspiration for Wendy on Wheels.  Angela created Wendy on Wheels to create a positive character for young people to learn to accept those who have different abilities. Angela visits many schools to read and entertain students with Wendy on Wheels’ universal message of acceptance and enjoying life.
