2018 Cover Winner: Allison & Cassidy

Allison & Cassidy

Our cover photo is of siblings, Allison and Cassidy Weber (19/17 respectively). Cassidy has a brain migration defect, Microcephaly, Epilepsy, Scoliosis, Cerebral Palsy, is non-verbal, in a wheelchair and fed through a g-tube. Allison has been Cassidy’s “buddy” at Challenger baseball for 9 years, and Cassidy loves it when Allison “runs” the bases with her, like only a sister can. Allison always makes sure that people are introduced to Cassidy and the two share a very close, and comical, bond.
