As we all become homeschoolers during COVID-19, and figure out ways to help our children learn from home, we thought it would be super helpful for you if we pulled together a list of sites and educational companies that are offering FREE subscriptions, storytime or discounted prices due to school closings.
STORYTIME – READING
Country Singer Dolly Parton will start reading kids’ bedtime stories from, April 2nd- June 4th. You can tune in on her Imagination Library Facebook page at 7 PM Eastern time. All of the books she will be reading are part of Imagination Library.

Scholastic Learn at Home: Providing day-by-day projects to keep kids reading, thinking, and growing. Activities are adaptable to many different ages and types of learners.

Sesame Street is offering over 100 e-books to read. Sesame Street is committed to supporting families throughout this unprecedented time with their caring for each other initiative plus relevant new videos, printables, and learning-at-home resources for your family.
Storyline Online – Books read by celebrities

Otsimo Special Education – Offering more than 100 games, each game is designed with the purpose of teaching children core skills such as motor skills, quantitative reasoning, and concept formation. It offers a personalized learning path for each child depending on how they progress in each game. It also includes AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) which can be used as part of speech therapy for children who struggle with communicating. Otsimo is FREE to use, BUT, you can reach more educational games and features by upgrading to a premium version if desired.
Autism Teaching Strategies: Dozens of free social skills teaching resources. The resources vary in difficulty and can be used for children between ages 6-18.
Learning Activities: This is a “teacher-made” list of sites offering resources for parents.
Special Olympics School of Strength: Introducing a whole new way to exercise featuring WWE Superstar, Becky Lynch. Athletes can work out with these videos five times a week to help stay fit and reach their athletic goals!
