Change is in the airโฆ

By the time you read this, the North should be thawed out a bitโฆ.come to think of it, so should the Southโฆ.the East and the West. The home stretch for โSpring should be sprungโ and Mother Nature is telling us that change is in the airโฆ.change of season, change of temperature, and change of many things. So, as it often does, my mind starts to think of many things. I am continually amazed at the amount and quality of information that our tremendous contributing writers continue to present to all of us. Every issue provides more than the previous and the much needed help, assistance, encouragement, and knowledge is received by more and more people. Also, by the time you read this, the Preventing Harmful Restraint and Seclusion in Schools Act (HR4247) should have passed and should be on its way to the Senate. For those of you who are not aware, this is a good thingโฆ..particularly for those of us with a child who has special needs. See, weโre getting important and much needed information to everyone even as you read this! In addition, this issue has just what the doctor ordered for getting over the record cold winter that this country has just experiencedโฆ..summer camps! We have profiled some wonderful facilities that deserve our attention. Speaking of exercise, how about some exercise for our brains? Check out our article on Superyoga for the Brainโฆโฆ.everyone can benefit from this technique. There is also valuable information about how to recognize seizures. What is a seizure and when, in fact, it may not be a seizure. This is vital information that everyone needs to know, regardless of a special need or not.
We would like to welcome two new contributing writers to our growing family: Dr. Kari Miller and Barbara โthe games ladyโ Sher. I am confident that you will enjoy their valuable input to our community. Thank you to both of these generous people.
