From the Heart: New Beginnings Start With an Open Mind
New Beginnings
Is this really 2011? I mean, wasn’t it just 2010? Where did the time go? But this does allow me to direct my thoughts and efforts to the new year. A new year means new ideas and new efforts. So, with that in mind, Parenting Special Needs Magazine is adding some new sections/columns for you. We have a section called “Your Life”. This section is for us the caregivers, hopefully, it will help you organize, and enjoy “Simple Pleasures”, “Special Times with your Partner”, and ways to find little escapes. This is also our special planning issue: how do we prepare and care for them in the future?
Since this issue also covers February, which is Valentines Day, we have a great column called “Date Night”. Our readers and Facebook fans have written in some wonderful ideas on how to have a date at home so that you can enjoy a little romance with the one you love.
Don’t forget to check out Mike’s Success Story on never giving up. It will inspire you for sure. I would like to thank each and every one of you for making 2010 a great year and I look forward to this year being even better than the last.
Enjoy!
