From The Heart: Spring Health and Wellness
Spring is in the air here in Vero Beach, Fl. We’re swimming in sunshine (no offense to our friends who are still digging out of the incredible winter up north) and we also get the added plus of the smell of orange blossoms in the air…at night it just makes you want to open all of the windows just so the smell rushes through the house! It makes me think of the newness of the orange blossom and brings me back to thinking about nature. Spring is a time to appreciate our earth and ourselves. And, speaking of taking care of ourselves, in this issue, we cover health care…as well as eating green. After all, we need to take care of us to take care of our loved ones. This sentiment is said in a very nice way in our article: Do you want to go to Australia? The article, Understanding the Mental Skills of ADD and ADHD, also touches on our mental health.
Since we all need to eat to not only survive but to function properly throughout our day, the “Eating Green” article and “Omega Fatty Acids” articles are important for us to understand. Remember the old saying “you are what you eat”? Well, we have an article titled just that!! I suggest you read it…haha.
I do hope you will take a few minutes to read through the magazine. In addition, I would also like to have you all check out our Facebook fan page (Parenting Special Needs Magazine). Together we can really help our community and share information in a very fast and efficient manner. Thank you all for your continued support and for helping us to grow and spread the news about who we are, what we do, and who we help.
Happy Spring!
