There are so many important life skills that parents can help their children learn during the summer months.
Many of these skills are things that students might not be directly exposed to in a traditional classroom setting.
Skills like paying for purchases, finding the right clothing size, feeding pets, and helping with laundry are just a few of the many topics students will need to master to lead more independent lives.
The next few graphics show some important life skills you can work on with your child this summer in the domains of home, stores, and leisure.
Print out the graphics and hang them on the refrigerator as a reminder of the skills you’d like to work on this summer.Â
