Managing Time for Adults with ADHD
When handling tasks, individuals with ADHD experience time differently from other individuals. Due to challenges with time management and organization, many adults with ADHD express frustration in completing only one or two “to-dos” from their list. To boost productivity at work and at home and accomplish tasks efficiently, it is important for adults with ADHD to have an effective system put into place to help them manage their time and maximize it with minimal distractions and hassles.
1. Create a To-Do List.
Adults with ADHD often struggle with staying focused to complete tasks and can commit to too many tasks at once. Furthermore, large projects can seem overwhelming and unmanageable. The ability to organize thoughts and tasks is vital to accomplishing both short- and long-term goals.
