Special Finds to Remember What You Love
Special Finds to Remember What You Love
Happiness journal: This year, in an effort to find out more about myself, I’ve decided to keep a happiness journal. Sometimes, by being a mom, I have forgotten who I am and I have forgotten what I love! Because my time is limited, I have decided I’ll just write down 5 things that I love every single day: listening to music…but, then again, what kind?, the quite hours in the morning, sunshine, coffee in the morning, a kiss for my daughter, or a call from my husband. I am starting out vague and trying to get more specific, so I can actually know what makes me happy and what I love.

The Secret: the Power: this book is inspirational and it actually inspired me to do the happiness journal. Every person is surrounded by a magnetic field. You attract everything through the magnetism of your field. Your feelings determine whether you’re attracting positive or negative energy. By not allowing negativity to enter your life, you can remain in the positive. The book mentions that if we just try 51% of the time to be positive, it puts us in the positive/tipping point. This book is about positivity, and about spreading love, and asking for what we want from life. Life is magical, so start experiencing it! Share your love, because it is the magnet to all the riches in life.
Pandora: O.K. So now you all know I am a music dork… I don’t use my iTunes account for music. If you ask me, I cannot tell you which band or musician I like, except my husband can as he loves music and happens to play an instrument so he is up on that stuff. The Pandora app has opened up my world to music again. I am enjoying exploring new music, as well as listening to bands I grew up with. I have even found mediation music to listen to while practicing yoga.
