So what would make your life better? If you could make 10 changes in the special needs community, or in your special needs life, what would it be? What changes would make your life, your family’s life or your child’s life easier or better? It can be anything you can think of.
Some ideas to get you started:
· Funding for respite, products, therapy, in-home support and care
· Support groups, advice sources, someone/somewhere to reach out to for help
· Improved access and assistance on public transport, at airports, in restaurants, in shops/stores, etc…
· New products that make life easier or less expensive
· Greater awareness and understanding of disability, more inclusion/integration, education, research
Let’s all find out what our community might need or want. We can then work together so that we can make some real changes in our world. Let your voice be heard…..this is a call to action.
